FNHC and SLB Canada invest in Indigenous youth embarking on the entrepreneurial path to success | Edmonton
We’d like to take a moment to thank our sponsor SLB Canada, without whom none of this would be possible. Your investment in our vision plays a pivotal role in the success of three Bears’ Lair Dream Camps in Treaty 6, 7 & 8. Your generous collaborative partnership makes a positive impact in the lives of Indigenous youth and community.
Bears’ Lair Dream Camps prove to Indigenous youth they are the CEO of their own success. Sparked by the success of the Bears’ Lair TV show, Bears’ Lair Dream Camps was created by Geena Jackson and Dean Montgomery to uplift communities, empower and inspire Indigenous youth across Canada. It is a non-profit, offering 3-day entrepreneurial training programs for Indigenous youth aged 11-18.
FNHC believes that this initiative will significantly advance the social determinants of health for First Nations youth across Alberta. By empowering youth with entrepreneurial skills, mentorship, and community connections, we aim to create sustainable pathways for economic independence and social well-being.
Stay tune for more coverage as the Bears’ Lair Dream Camp will be at Kehewin Cree Nation School from November 21 – 24, 2025.
