Fort Chipewyan and area!
Visit us February 4-6, 2025 at the Fort Chipewyan Multiplex Foyer to begin applications for Status Registration (‘Indian Status’) or Jordan’s Principle on-site.
Our staff will be available to answer your questions on both applications processes, what to expect, and what documentation you may need for applications.
Status Registration (‘Indian Status’) applications refer to the Temporary Confirmation of Registration Document and/or Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS) card.
There are no fees for these services. Contact us below in advance of the event to set up an appointment or discuss your needs.

Jordan’s Principle Application Support
Jordan’s Principle responds to unmet needs of First Nations and Inuit children aged 0-18 to ensure children and youth can access required services or supports they need.
Staff will discuss what you need for a successful application and can advise on supporting documentation and the waiting period for a decision from Indigenous Services Canada. You can also begin a Jordan’s Principle intake with the FNHC on our website anytime: www.abfnhc.com/intakes.
