NHL Street and HEROS Hockey
If you are interested in signing up, here is what you need to know about the NHL Street and HEROS hockey and how it will benefit your community and/or school.
NHL Street is a program launched by the National Hockey League (NHL) and is designed to build a new era in street hockey that is fun, relevant, and aimed at getting more kids involved in playing the game. HEROS (Hockey Education Reaching Out Society) Hockey is a volunteer driven charity that teaches life skills and empowers marginalized youth through hockey.
Age Criteria: 6-16 years old of all skill levels.
NHL Street Program Package:
- Standard net
- 2 sizes of hockey sticks
- Full goalie equipment
- Hockey balls
- Rink boards
- FREE NHL branded jersey for each youth that is registered!
NHL Street and HEROS Hockey:
- HEROS Hockey will provide the registration portal and cover the fee for each kid to ensure this program is available at completely no cost to the youth/communities.
- Kids can be registered with HEROS Hockey and become part of the organization for LIFE, even if they move to another location.
- NHL Street participants receive a uniform as part of their registration.
- NHL Street provides training to the league coaches/refs also at no cost and it is a very user friendly, online format.
